GOLD A LEVEL MECHANIC TECHNICIAN
Efficiently Performs all Entry Level & B Level Jobs with no Assistance.
- Perform diagnostic assessments, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of powersport vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately diagnose and resolve problems.
- Troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, overhauling and inspection procedures.
- Replace or repair defective components, such as carburetors, exhaust systems, and ignition systems.
- Stay familiar with manufacturer recalls, service bulletins, and technical updates, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate & detailed records of diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and parts used in each service job.
- Generate comprehensive reports for customers, explaining repairs, costs, and recommended maintenance and ability to communicate clearly with customer.
Qualifications
- MMI Graduate or Automotive Technical School preferred or equivalent work experience plus manufacturer certifications
- 5-10 Years mechanical experience
- Own a set of comprehensive tools
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Experience knowledge with powersport parts (identification, inspection, classification of component groups, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Working knowledge of computers and cloud-based systems
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Basic knowledge of dealership repair orders
Physical Skills
- Physical endurance for standing, lifting ( 80 lbs. max) repetitive hand and arm movements
- Manual dexterity, especially with small objects
- Ability to be able to climb, crawl, kneel, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with body, arms, and/or legs in order to access work
- Ability to keep or regain one's body balance or stay upright when in an unstable position

Compensation & Benefits
- $30-$45 - A Technician
- $20-$30 - B Technician
- $16-$20 - C Technician
