SERVICE PARTS RUNNER/WARRANTY CLERK

Warranty Clerk Duties

• Process Warranty Claims
• Accurately code and submit all Warranty Claims in cloud & DMS system
• Review each Warranty Repair Order for proper completion & accuracy
• Utilize technical knowledge to verify proper documentation of repairs for warranty coverage & payment
• Assist in the administration of Warranty parts such as recording required dates, pictures, and disposal
• Ensure approved Warranty Claims have parts in stock or are ordered
• Verify criteria required by manufacturer, correct all errors when necessary
• Follow up with manufacturers regarding not approved, denied, unpaid claims, etc.
• Process & Close out Repair Orders
• Communicate with customers on status
• Keep up with Factory Recalls
• Complete relevant Manufacturer Certification Requirements as needed

Parts Runner Duties 

• Process Pick Tickets & deliver parts to technicians
• Ensure that the area of the parts department is properly stocked
• Assists the service department by shuffling vehicles as needed
• Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes & trash, sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily
• Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when part has been replaced.
• Assists parts manager with stocking shelves

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Experience knowledge with powersport parts (identification, inspection, classification of component groups, etc.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Working knowledge of computers and cloud-based systems
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Basic knowledge of dealership invoices/repair orders and billing

ENTRY LEVEL C POWERSPORTS TECHNICIAN

Tire, Lube & Preventative Maintenance Technician

• Completion of Basic ORV Maintenance Course
• Efficiently use Computer Dealer Inventory Management System
• Safely use ATV/UTV Lifts
• Engine Oil Change, inspect oil Filter/Replace & Clean Spark Arrester
• Inspect for Oil Leaks
• Lubricate & grease engine parts including wheel bearings
• Air Filter Inspection & Replacement
• Drive Belt Tension & Alignment Inspection & Replacement
• Drive Chain Tension Inspection & Adjustment & Lubrication (if applicable)
• Change Transmission Fluids & Gearcase Oil (if applicable)
• Tire Mount, Balance, Change Tire & Torque Wheel Nuts
• Tire Wear Assessment & Rotation if they are rotational
• Install/Change Wiper Blades
• Battery Installation, Activation, Charging & Measuring Voltage, Replace if necessary
• Lights Inspection & Replacement
• Brake Inspection, Brake Fluid, Pads, Rotor & Master Cylinder, replace if necessary
• “No Comeback” Inspection Sealed & Stamped

Setup & Installation

Job Duties

• Year Round Outdoor Steamcleaning Trailers
• Year Round Indoor Wiring, Hydraulic Plumbing
• Set-up New Mowers & ATV's 
• Basic Maintenance & Repair including general upkeep, sweeping, seasonal mowing

Seeking a motivated worker who is interested in growing & learning.  Must be in good physical condition with strength and stamina.  Must be punctual. Self Starter preferred. 

Compensation

• $14-$20 an hour depending on experience
